This cemetery is located about 1 mile north of Tatum in an early settled just north of the Old Trammel's Trace, located on the side of a hill concealed in bushes There are appropximately 25-35 graves that are marked with stones or native sandstone.

There are at least 8 sinks that could be graves. The earliest marker grave is 1869 and the latest 1922.

The Rev. Obediah Dodson organized the Holly Springs Baptist Church at Pine Hill in 1851.
