Carolyn Green, 80, of Lake Dallas, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at her residence. She was born October 30, 1927 in Denton to James Elmer and Ida Mae Mann Barns. She attended Denton Schools and North Texas State Teachers College (now U.N.T.). She married B.L. Rankin, Jr. He preceded her in death. She later married Vaughn Ray Green in 1971. He preceded her in death. She had retired as manager of Lake Haven Estates in Lake Dallas and a member of Lake Dallas First Baptist Church. She had been active in Kid ‘N Cops, Parks and Recreation, Board of Adjustment, Keep Lake Dallas Beautiful, Planning and Zoning, Community Development Corp. Chairman, Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year, long time chamber member, City Council Volunteer, a staunch supporter of Lake Dallas Football & Athletics, sponsored Academic Scholarships for Lake Dallas High School seniors and an Honorary member of the Lake Dallas Yell Raisers. Friends are welcome to come by DeBerry Funeral Directors on Friday, May 9, 2008 and sign the memorial book. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Lake Shores Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at Swisher Cemetery. Members of the Lake Dallas Falcons football team will serve as pallbearers. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Jo and husband, Stephen R. Burns of Keller; son, Thomas Edward and wife, JoAnn Rankin of Lake Dallas; sisters, Pauline James of Dallas and Geneva Boydston of Denton; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. his wife, Renee Green; son, Michael Allen Green; and daughter, Courtney Lynn Lomax and her husband, Jason.  Mike is also survived by his mother, Audrey Green; and sister, Joyce Renee Brown.  He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Green; and brother, Kevin Green.
Mike was owner of Mike’s Small Engine Repair and was a business sponsor for the Lake Cities Baseball Association.  He was an outdoorsman, avid angler and loved hunting.  Nascar and Coon Hunting being his favorite pastimes.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Dalton & Son Funeral Home in Lewisville.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Dalton & Son with Rev. Daniel Patrick officiating.  Burial will follow at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas.

Kluck, Greta Rae
Greta Rae Kluck, 81, of Pilot Point passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Pilot Point Care Center.  She was born August 28, 1926 in Sulphur Springs to Robert Claude and Alice Stephenson.  She married Garland Theodore Kluck on August 3, 1946 in Rockwall. 
Visitation will be Monday, May 26, 2008 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors.  Graveside service will be Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Swisher Cemetery.
She is survived by daughter, Marsha and husband Gary Temple of Bradenton FL; son, Stephen and wife Genise Kluck of Tioga; granddaughters, Brenda Perry of Calhoun GA, Tamara Walker of Carrollton, Amy Nelms of Honey Grove; step-granddaughter, Amy Pirkle; step-grandson, Brian David; 3 great grandsons and 6 step-great grandsons.  She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. ~ ~ ~ Denton Record Chronicle, Monday, May 26, 2008



Kluck, Greta Rae

Krafton, Julia Angela
Julia Angela Krafton, age 87, passed away on December 15, 2007 in Lewisville, Texas. Julia was born February 29, 1920 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Margaret Nally. She is survived by a daughter, Jodee Edwards and husband Clyde; 3 grandchildren, Joann Mills and husband Ricky, David Parker and wife Kim, and Claudia Hoffacker and husband John. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A visitation will held on Thursday, December 20, 2007 from 7 pm ? 9 pm at Dalton & Son Funeral Home. Services will be on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Dalton & Son Funeral, Deacon Ray Lamarre officiating.
