Old Shiloh Cemetery

Flower Mound, Denton Co. , Cemeteries of Texas

Submitted by Betty Finley

The cemetery is located on the north side of F. M. 1171 just west of Shiloh Road. It was originally surveyed in May 1989 by Phoebe and Richard Tarver, then a partial update was done by Ann Onstad in May 1997. The Denton County Historical Commission estimates there are 173 unmarked graves. There are many graves marked by sandstones which have no information. If inscriptions are single spaced, it means that it is a double (or triple) tombstone.

You may contact the surveyor at bettyfinley@hotmail.com if you wish any more information or would like to have a photograph of a tombstone.
