Deceased Name: Bettie Sue Woodall
KNOX CITY — Bettie Sue Woodall, 77, of Knox City, died, Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at a local hospital. Graveside Services will be held 10:30am, Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Knox City Cemetery with Rev. Paul Chambers officiating. A visitation will be held Friday, April 7, 2006 from 6 to 8 pm at Mansell-Smith Funeral Home, Knox City.
Mrs. Woodall was born November 28, 1928, in Haskell County, the daughter of J.C. Saunders and Cora Bevel Saunders. On July 21, 1946, Bettie married Frank J. Woodall in Knox City. He preceded her in death August 3, 1994. She was a member of the Knox City Foursquare Church.
She is survived by three sons: Frank David Woodall and wife Lucy of Henrietta, TX, Kenneth Dale Woodall of Knox City, TX, Danny Mike Woodall and wife Jan of Merkel, TX, daughter Nancy K. Peterson and husband John of Stayton, OR, Grandchildren Paul A. Woodall, Charles G. Woodall, Stephanie M. Fender, Heather M. Peterson, Tara L. Woodall, Great Grandchildren Gage and Lindsey Woodall, Zacharyah, Karley, Nicholas and Michael Fender, and Johnathan J. Peterson.
Memorials may be made to the Knox City Foursquare Church, 221 Main Street, Knox City, Texas 795269.
