BROWN CEMETERY

Brown Cemetery is located next to the Veteran’s Cemetery near the V.A. Hospital in Kerrville. Take State Hwy 27 east to Spur 100. Turn left and go a short distance on that road. You will see Brown Cemetery on the left. There is an Historical Marker on the premises. You can also access State Hwy 27 from Loop 534 where you will turn left, go about ½ mile to Spur 100 and follow the above directions.

The Brown Cemetery survey was first done in 1976 by Arlene Tolman and her husband Fred, members of Kerrville Genealogical Society. In November, 2001, an updated survey was done by Shirley Webb and her husband, James, also members of KGS. The updated survey appears below and includes the original work along with the additions and corrections to the original. Thanks, also, to Claudia Peschel McWhorter who contributed updated information for the graves of her ancestors buried at the cemetery.
