ELLA BROWN- April 29, 1981

 Knox City, TX --Ella Mae Brown,77, of Abilene, formerly of Haskell County, died at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene after a brief illness. Services will be a 1 p.m. Friday in North Park Church of Christ in Abilene, directed by Smith Funeral Home of Knox City, TX.

   Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. in Weinert Cemetery.

   Born March 10, 1904, in Palo Pinto County, she married Ralph Brown May 8, 1923, in Weinert, Tx.  She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971, by a sister and a grandchild.

   Survivors include three son, Tom of Hurst, J. Carl of Ft. Worth, and Don of Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Greenhaw of Abilene; 4 brothers, John Elliott of Farmington, N.M., Alvin Elliott of Midland, L.Z. Elliott of California, and G. W. Elliott of Colorado;5 sisters, America Kirkpatrick of Midland; Callie Williams of Big Springs, Tessie Brown of Donna, Ruth Birdwell of Harper, and Eunice Dallas of Sacramento,, Calif; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

   The family will be at 1197 Glendale in Abilene, Tx.
