  The only known history of this cemetery is very limited. The cemetery is located on land that was owned

by the Fortners; now owned by Dale Keith Jones, who inherited it from Evelyn Jones Denison.

At one time there was a school in the area, and that is presumed to be the reason for the location

of the cemetery. There are only six known names of those buried there. As for back as Billy Ray Dunn

can remember, a Mr. and Mrs. Meharg kept the grounds clean around the headstones, then after their death.
