Ellen Louise Brown Thorman

ODESSA — Ellen Louise Brown Thorman, 81, of Odessa, passed away Sept. 2, 2004, at Crane Nursing Home. She was born May 17, 1923, in Coalgate, Oklahoma, to Milton and Ellen Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Speck, Tom, Bob, Lawrence and Paul Brown; and her husband, Bill Thorman. She is survived by a sister, Mary Taylor; two brothers, Bo Brown and Jimmy Brown; four nephews, George, Jet, Howard and Dale Brown; four nieces, Patsy Terry, Rose Ellen Murphy, Kim Brown and Jean McAfee; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She attended OHS in 1941. She married in 1943 and moved to New York. She returned to Odessa in 1989.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 5, 2004, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Hull officiating.
