Minnie Otts Sneed

ODESSA — Minnie Otts Sneed, 84,of Carthage, Texas, formally of Odessa, Texas, died Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, in Carthage.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas with the Rev. Byron McWilliams officiating.
Mrs. Minnie Otts Sneed was born June 10, 1920, in Earlsboro, Oklahoma, to Ed and Dora Otts. Minnie graduated from Wewoka High School. She married Robert Cecil Sneed and together they celebrated many years of marriage.
Minnie served her country during WWII in California as a Riveter, as the men were off fighting the war. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas. Minnie, a homemaker, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by sons, Danny Sneed and wife, Debbie, of Carthage, Mike Sneed and wife, Phyllis, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; sister, Edith Ratcliff and husband, Frank, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Alex, Shanna, Bobby, Chad, Richard, Shannon and Season; nine great-grandchildren; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Services under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home in Carthage.
