Bobbie Sizemore

ODESSA — Bobbie Sizemore, 78, of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2004, at her residence. She was born November 20, 1925, in Fort Worth to John and Dora Welch. She married Harrell Sizemore on January 1, 1946, in Kermit, Texas. They moved to Denver City, Texas, in 1947, where she worked as a dental assistant and an office nurse until their family moved to Odessa in 1965. There she enjoyed being a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Progressive Study Club and active in the First Baptist Church.
She and her husband retired to Ruidoso, New Mexico, in 1985. They lived there until February 2003, when they returned to Odessa to be closer to family.
Survivors include her husband, Harrell Sizemore of Odessa; son and daughter-in-law, John and Kathy Sizemore of Nocona, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Doug Smith of Odessa; four granddaughters, Suzann Sizemore, Julie Davis, Jennifer Smith and Rebecca Sizemore; and two great-grandsons, Jase and John Bodie Davis.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Hutson, Kim Kinney, Nicholas Minyard, Rodney Parker, Randy Watts and Mark Wheeler. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 26, at 11 a.m. at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with the Reverend Curtis Brewer officiating. Burial services will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Odessa or First Baptist Church Odessa.
