Frank Subia Lozano

ODESSA — Surrounded by his Loved Ones in the afternoon hours of Monday, September 20, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital, Frank Subia Lozano, 94, of Odessa, passed away from this life, only to be greeted in our Heavenly Kingdom by Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the love of his life, Our Mother, Martina, who preceded him in death in 2003.
Mr. Lozano was born June 15, 1910, in Saragosa, Texas, to Felix and Petra Subia Lozano. He united in marriage to Martina Vegil and to this unification was born seven children. He was a Christian Catholic and a hard-working man as a Farmer in the Agriculture Industry.
He was preceded in death by parents; grandson, Larry Zaranza; and six brothers. He is survived by two sons, Robert Lozano and Frank Lozano Jr., both of Odessa; five daughters, Hope Fenton and husband, Steve, of Odessa, Mary Ellen Ibarra and husband, Hector, Carolina Benavides and husband, Manuel, from Fort Stockton, Marcella Aranda and husband, Raul, of Kermit and Rachel Venne and husband, Ron, of San Antonio; two brothers, Gilbert Lozano of Pecos and Joe Lozano of Odessa; two sisters, Dominga Carrasco of Balmorhea and Eva Lozano of Odessa; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, three great- great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and lots of friends.
Pallbearers will be Hector Ibarra Jr., Roland Aranda, Michael Benavides, Charles Benavides, Bobby Lozano Jr., Noel Lozano and Danny Lozano. Honorary pallbearers will be Capt. Stephen Sapiera (U.S.A.F.), Joseph Pemberton, Jonathan Long and Joshua Acosta.
We the family would like to take this time to express our utmost sincere gratitude to all the staff at Seabury Nursing Center especially Elaine Brasher for all the wonderful care that was given to our father.
A rosary will be recited today, September 22, 2004, at 7 p.m. at Odessa Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2004, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Reverend Francis Frey officiating, Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
