Carol Ann Wilson

ODESSA — Carol Ann Wilson, 67, passed from this life to be with the Lord Monday, May 3, 2004, at Hospice House in Odessa. Carol was born in Pecos, Texas, to Marcus and Ruth Farris, who preceded her in death.
She was reared and educated in Andrews and Odessa and later married the love of her life in Hobbs, N.M. Carol, the loving wife of Robert Wilson of 49 years, 11 months, and 12 days, was a homemaker who gave her all to her family. In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by a grandchild.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Wayne Wilson; daughters, Marcia Weddel and husband, Terry, of Longview, Elizabeth Parekh and husband, Dr. M.C. Parekh, of Odessa and Laura Goodwin and husband, Michael, of Van Alstyne; son, Mark Wilson of Odessa; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Carol Ann Wilson, the cherished wife, the greatest mother, grandmother and “nannie,” and a great friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home May 5, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 6, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Terry Pugh.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Wilson, Elmo Wilson, Wade Loudemy, Gregg Jungk, Eric Parekh, Robert Weddel, Sanjay Parekh and Robert Wilson.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. R.J. Patel, Dr. W. Riley, Dr. P. Reddy, Dr. N. Tolia, Dr. McCleary, Mrs. Debra Bridges and the loving staff of Hospice House of Odessa.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice House Foundation at 903 N. Sam Houston in Odessa.
