Bonnie Maniez Meroney

ODESSA — Bonnie Meroney, 73, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at the Hospice House in Odessa. Mrs. Meroney lived in Odessa since 1963. She was born March 10, 1931, in Mason, Michigan, to Robert and Francis Reeser. In 1949, she married Alphonse Maniez in Harlingen, Texas. They had three children. In 1963, they moved to Odessa where Bonnie was employed at Sears and Roebuck. Al Maniez passed away in October 1993. Bonnie retired from Odessa Internal Medicine in 1994. Bonnie enjoyed her retirement life. She also loved her friends and family.
Bonnie married Edwin Meroney in November of 1995.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Francis Reeser and husband, Al Maniez.
She is survived by her father, Robert Reeser of Sebastin, Fla.; husband, Edwin Meroney of Odessa; son, Steve Maniez and wife, Mandy, of New Braunfels, Texas; daughters, Debra Halpain and husband, Tim, of Marble Falls, Texas, and Jody Grizzard of Odessa. Bonnie had seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Bonnie also had four stepgrandchildren and seven great-stepgrandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
