ODESSA — Thelma Louise Thomas, 75, a longtime resident of Odessa, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at the Hospice House. She was born September 11, 1928, in Vernon, Texas. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1947. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl Thomas; her parents, William and Frances South; brother, William South Jr.; and sisters, Doris Segal and Mildred Motley.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris Lindsay of Odessa; two grandchildren, Jarrett Lindsay and Carl Wayne Lindsay and his fiancé, Leslie Strange; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2004, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
