ODESSA — Barbara A. Qualls, age 74, passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital.
She was born Feb. 17, 1929, to Robert and Iris Morris in Tucson, Ariz.
She married James P. Qualls on May 6, 1946, in Okmulgee, Okla., and they later moved to Odessa in July 1951. She and her husband owned their own business where she was bookkeeper. She was a member of Bible Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years and 8 months, James Qualls; and son, Timothy Qualls and wife, Cheryl, all of Odessa; granddaughter, Jamie Melissa Qualls; many relatives and church brothers and sisters.
Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
