ODESSA — Margaret L. Davis, 56, of Odessa died
Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, at Hospice House.
She was born June 21, 1944, in Ames, Iowa, to
Roy C. and Marilyn Young. She moved with her parents and two brothers to
Odessa in 1951. Margaret graduated from Permian High School in 1961 and
married Perry Max Davis in 1962. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry
Max Davis in February 2000 and two brothers, Charles Ray and Marvin Rex Young.
Survivors include her son, Perry Brion Davis of
Odessa; daughters, Christi Derington and Mistie Schumpert and husband Dana,
both of Odessa; mother, Marilyn Young McDonald of Odessa; father, Roy Young
and wife Rita of Boise, Idaho; a brother; two sisters; grandchildren, Jacob
and Brittany Derington and D.J., Dion Rex and Savanna Gwen Schumpert; several
cousins, nieces and nephews; and loving mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gwen
and Reed Gipson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4,
2001, at Sunset Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Reed Gipson officiating. Burial
will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
