ODESSA — Funeral mass for Romeo Trevino Sr. of Odessa will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Jose Uecker officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at the Sunset Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Trevino passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born to Rafael and Fransica Trevino Feb. 8, 1940, in Rio Grande City. He married Prajedes Granado Sept. 26, 1959, in Odessa. He was a resident of Odessa since 1955 and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of Odessa; his children, Romeo Trevino Jr. and wife Betty of Odessa, Javier Trevino and wife Angie of Odessa, Rafael Trevino and wife Elaine of Odessa, Mary Lou Acosta and husband Alejandro of Odessa, Teresa Trevino of Odessa, Josephine Munoz and husband Danny of Odessa; grandchildren, Eric Acosta, Steven Munoz, Jennifer Trevino, Rafael Trevino, Jonathan Trevino, Justin Trevino, Xavier Trevino, Matthew Munoz and Emma Rae Trevino; and one great-granddaughter, Isabella Mendoza.
Romeo was preceded in death by his parents.
