ODESSA — Guadalupe “Lupito” Saldana Robles, 20,of Odessa passed away Thursday, March 11, 2004,at Medical Center Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Lupito was born Sept. 7, 1983, in Odessa to Guadalupe and Benita S. Robles. He was a Christian and a student attending Odessa College.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gilberto Saladana; two uncles, Manuel Franco and Gilberto Saldana; and aunt, Diana Franco.
He is survived by his parents, Guadalupe and Benita S. Robles of Odessa; two brothers, Juan and Daniel Robles, both of Odessa; grandparents, Guadalupe and Maria De La Luz Robles of Fort Hancock, Texas, and Guadalupe Saldana of Socorro; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and lots of friends.
Pallbearers will be Sergio Robles, Ricardo Robles, Alex Robles, Juan Sotelo, Jesus Manuel Franco, Jose Franco, Joel Sotelo and Aron Rodriguez.
A Prayer Service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2004, at Templo Buenas Nuevas, located on Sixth and Vine streets here in Odessa, with the Rev. Rosario Hill officiating, Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
