ODESSA — Frances Alice Thompson Paynter,
87, of Odessa, died Saturday, March 27, 2004, at her residence.
Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the
Rev. Frey officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in El Paso, and came to Odessa in 1952 from Jacksonville, Fla. She
was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Kenneth Gerald Paynter of San Antonio, and Michael Paynter of
San Marcos; daughter, Ann Paynter Lustgarden of Odessa; sister, Lucye Nichols of
Austin; and four grandchildren.
