ODESSA — God took home our beloved David Ratliff, 28, a superintendent for Manpower on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, at Medical Center Hospital. He came into our lives May 19, 1975. He was born to David and Donna Ratliff. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle.
During his time, he touched many lives with his warm smile and kind deeds many going unnoticed. We will miss him terribly, knowing he is with the Lord is our only comfort. We love you David.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, C.D. and Gloria Ratliff; uncle, Jackie Ratliff, and several cousins.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Kay Ratliff; two beautiful sons, Michael and Blake; parents, Donna and David Ratliff; two brothers, Darrell and wife, Christy, nephew, Taylor, and brother, Dustin Ratliff, all of Odessa. Grandparents Martha Lambert and Grady Mingus; mother-in-law, Cathy Hoffman; sister-in-law, Lynda Wright; nephews, James and Quinton Wright, all of Odessa; and many other close relatives.
Pallbearers will be Dean Bosse, Dale Bosse, Steven Pepper, Larry Pepper, Kenny Lowe and Walter Massengale.
Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at 10 a.m. with Father Mark Woodruff and Deacon Alan Neff officiating.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
