ODESSA Daisy Mozell Ray, 69, a longtime resident
of Odessa, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004. In Prescott, Ariz., Mozell was born
Feb. 19, 1935, to Dossie M. Shirley and Maggie Mae Shirley in Winona, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Ray; son, John Merril
Sevier Jr.; grandson, Howard Merril Neer; brothers, M.F. Shirley, T.M. Shirley,
Garland Shirley and Travis Shirley.
Mozell is survived by her daughters, Kay Oden of Prescott, Ariz., and Gayle
Lowery of Angleton, TX.; brother, Robert L. Shirley of Odessa, TX.;
grandchildren, Steven Chavez, April Razo, David Sevier, Robin Munzo, Joseph
Sevier and Kyle Sevier; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services arranged by Heritage Memory Mortuary of Prescott, Ariz.
There will be a visitation at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to until
12 noon Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, with a graveside service to follow at 1 p.m.
at the Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. David Adkins officiating.
