Praxedis Gonzales Madrid

ODESSA — Praxedis Gonzales Madrid, 100, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at Hospice House in Odessa.
Mrs. Madrid was a Catholic and was born March 15,
1903, in Presidio to father, Laurencio Gonzales, and mother, Isidra Gonzales, who both preceded her in death.
A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at 922 Edgeport in North Ranchito in Odessa. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at San Juan Catholic Church with Father Mark Woodrow officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
Survivors include four daughters, Juana M. Rivas, Francis M. Lujan, Manuela M. Gonzales and Antonia M. Ramirez, all from Odessa; two sons, Diego G. Madrid and Andy G. Madrid, both from Odessa; 44 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren; and 78 great-great-grandchildren.
