James William Rambin

Springridge Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, LA

MANSFIELD, LA - Funeral services for Mr. James William Rambin, 76, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Chapel, Mansfield, LA with Rev. R.C. Miller, Retired Baptist Minister and Rev. Mike Welch, Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Mansfield, LA, officiating. Burial will be at Springridge Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, LA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, 6-8 p.m.

Mr. Rambin, a native of DeSoto Parish, died Thursday, August 10, 2006 at DeSoto Regional Hospital, Mansfield, LA. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and had retired from Hendrix Mfg. after 42 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris Feazel Rambin of Mansfield; one son, Barry Rambin and wife Kristi of Mansfield, LA; two grandsons, Tyler Rambin and Zachary Rambin of Mansfield; two sisters, Jean Manning of Angleton, Texas and Clara Webb of Converse, LA; one brother, Charlie Ford of Angleton, TX.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Feazel, Paul Hyche, Ronald Brown, John Ebarb, Ronald Ebarb and Tim Smith. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, LA 318-872-4660
