Mr. Glen B. Davis 
Grand Cane Cemetery

GRAND CANE, LA - Graveside services for Mr. Glen B. Davis, 81, will be held 10 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2006 at Grand Cane Cemetery, Grand Cane, La. Officiating will be Jay Burford, Pastor of Fellowship Community Church in Kickapoo, La. 

Mr. Davis passed away Saturday, February 18, 2006 in Shreveport, La. after a lengthy illness. He was born in Trout, La. and was a lifetime resident of DeSoto Parish. He retired as a Dairy Farmer. Mr Davis was a WWII Navy veteran having served from November 1942 until January 1946; having taken part in the Normandy Invasion at Omaha Beach and serving in the Pacific Theater.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Fredie Davis.

He is survived by two sons: Glen Davis and his wife June of Shreveport, La.; Dennis Davis of Gloster, La.; four daughters: Glenda Davis Loftin of Greenwood, La.; Barbara Namer and husband Robert of River Ridge, La.; Sandra Roberts and husband Charlie of Keithville, La.; Beth Davis Hamm of Greenwood, La.; ten grandchildren: Christy Husted, Trisha Munoz, Dana Massett, Lara DiCristina, Sara Metro, Jana Namer, Tina Thompson, Mike Roberts, Gina Dixon, Heath Mathes and ten great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Roberts, Harvey Burford, Greg Howe, Ross Hunt, Gary Wayne Brummett, and Jack Burford. Honorary pallbearers will be John Brummett, Gerald Files, and James Burford.
