Toledo Bend Tribune Obituaries & Death Notices Feb 24, 2005 Brandon Meadows Brandon Allen Meadows, 18 of Logansport died early Sunday morning, Feb., 2005, in Caddo Parish. He was born on March 24, 1986 in Alexandria, La. A memorial service was held at the First Baptist Church in Logansport, La. Wed., Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. Family received friends at the First Baptist Church between 5 and 9 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 8. Brandon is survived by his mother, Teri Hawsey of Logansport and his father, Allen Meadows of Mooringsport, La; stepfather Ernest (Ernie) Hawsey and stepmother, Lisa Meadows; grandmothers, Nancy Fowler and Betty Main; grandfather, George Meadows; and step-grandmother, Linda Meadows; two half-sisters, Ashlee Hawsey and Tiffany Piquite; two step- sisters, Tina Dupuis and husband Randy; and Melissa Hughes and husband Billy; a step-brother, Joshua Harrell; a step-niece, Lee Anna Hughes; and one step-nephew, Matthew Hughes; Uncle Billy and Aunt Dee Dy Fowler and cousins Davis and Lauren; Uncle Robert Fowler and cousin Jared; Aunt Kym Fowler; best friend of an early age, Victoria Leggett; special friend, Veronica Rodgers; and a host of other dear friends and family. Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Will Davis Fowler Jr. Officiating were Pastor Merrell McCoy of Maple Springs Baptist Church in Logansport, assisted by Leroy Bimbrook of Cornerstone Assembly of God of Mooringsport, John Neilson and Pastor Charles Hall of First Baptist Church of Logansport. Brandon was a 2004 graduate of Logansport High School, a volunteer firefighter for DeSoto Parish Fire District No. 1 and a member of the First Baptist Church in Logansport. He was an avid outdoorsman. His favorite past-times were fishing, hunting and riding four-wheeler with his family and friends. Brandon was full of life, very witty, and he loved to make others laugh. He will always be loved and missed by all who knew him.
