She was a former radio dispatcher for Centenary College Police Department. She was a loyal and active member of the Pelican United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir and was editor of the newsletter. Jennifer was a great fan of country music, and frequently attended performances by her favorite singers. She had the opportunity to meet many of the performers; one of her greatest moments was to meet George Strait and have her photograph taken with him. Jennifer was deeply loved by her family and friends, and she was equally devoted to them.
