The Shreveport Times Monday, November 07, 2005 Nannie Mae Bowden Jamar Out of State, Smackover, AR MANSFIELD, LA - Nannie Mae Bowden Jamar, 94 departed this life on November 5, 2005 at DeSoto Retirement Home. She moved to Mansfield in 1986 from Smackover, Arkansas. She was a native of Stanley, Louisiana, formerly Oak Grove, and a member of First Baptist Church, Mansfield, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Jamar and a son, George C. Jamar. Mrs. Jamar is survived by a son, Jim Jamar of Palm Springs, California; daughter-in-law, Janet Jamar of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandson, Kyle Jamar and wife, Jill also of Tulsa; and three granddaughters and their spouses, Felicia, Janette and Claudia; one niece, Joyce Todd McCoy; three nephews, Bill Todd, Stanton Bowden, and Darryl Bowden. She also leaves a host of other friends and family members. Funeral services will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, LA at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 with Rev. Joe Waggener officiating. Graveside services will be in Smackover, Arkansas on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at 3 p.m. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday, November 7, 2005 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to First Baptist Church, Mansfield, LA or the charity of your choice.
