Obituaries The Shreveport Times Feb 02, 2005 Jessie Mae Phelps Oak Grove Cemetery MANSFIELD, LA - Jessie Mae Phelps slipped away peacefully in her sleep to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born September 29, 1918 and passed away on February 1, 2005 at 3:30 a.m. in Bossier City. Services will be conducted by Rose-Neath Mansfield Funeral Home. Officiating the services will be Bro. Bob Latham and Bro. Frankie Mathis. Special Music will be by Bro. John Newman. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday February 2, 2005. And the funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday February 3, 2005 at Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents. W.T. and Effie Wright, husband J.K. Phelps, Sr. special son in law James O. Smith, special grandson Troy Phelps and sister Pauline Farris and brother John Arthur Wright. Survivors include her daughter Bobbi Smith, son J. K. Phelps and wife Christine, sister Ruby Zeller; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
