Obituary The Times, Shreveport, LA January 10, 2005 Frank Glen Mcglathery Ret. Lt. Commander LOGANSPORT, LA - Funeral services for Frank Glen McGlathery, 83, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2005 at Rose-Neath Chapel, Logansport, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Weldon Sistrunk. Burial will be at O.E. Price Cemetery. Mr. McGlathery, a native of Logansport, died Saturday, January 8, 2005 in Logansport. He flew in the United States Navy for 20 Years and loved every minute of it. He attended LSU Baton Rouge. He was a Naval Aviator during WWII and Retired as a Lt. Commander. Mr. McGlathery was co-owner and operator of Logansport and Center Flying Services. He then was called back into service to fly the Berlin Airlift and flew over 300 missions. He then retired as co-owner and operator of Duke's Furniture and Appliance Company in Logansport. He was preceded in death by one son, Frank Keo McGlathery. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Shirley McGlathery; sons Keith Parker, Ray Parker and wife Roi Sue; daughters Anita Bogle, and Suzette Shaw and husband Rick; sisters Lela Tucker, and Lydia Ehrhardt; and brother Andrew D. McGlathery Jr; 4 Grandchildren; and a host of Nieces and Nephews. Pallbearers will be Andrew D. McGlathery III, Matthew B. McGlathery, Keo Ehrhardt, Duke Ehrhardt, and Russell Williams.
