GOOD SPRINGS, TX - Funeral services for Murl Leon Knight, 82, of Good Springs, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 14, 2005 at Crawford-Crim-Bryan Funeral Home Chapel in Henderson, TX with graveside services following at 2:00 PM at O.E. Price Cemetery, Logansport, LA. 

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM, Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at the funeral home. 

Mr. Knight died suddenly, July 11, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Knight was a Drilling Superintendent and Consultant with numerous drilling companies. 

He was preceded in death by wives: Dolores Adams Knight and Janie Alsup Knight. 

He is survived by one son, Gary Ford of Pascagoula, MS; three daughters, Murlene Lambert of Joaquin, TX; Michelle Rodgers of Benton, LA and Mona Cannon of Rushton, LA; two stepdaughters, Linda J. Smith of Henderson, TX, and Crystal Armstrong of Henderson, TX; two step-sons, Michael S. McCraw of Bullard, TX and Lionel E. McCraw of Shreveport, LA and one brother, Herman Knight of Springfield, IL.
