James Kimbral Barrett

LOGANSPORT, LA - Funeral services for James Kimbral Barrett, 92, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at Rose-Neath Chapel, Logansport, LA, with Rev. Bob Hollis of First United Methodist Church of Logansport officiating. Interment will be at O. E. Price Cemetery in Logansport. Visitation at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, will be Monday September 12, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. 

Mr. Barrett, a native of Preston, MS and a resident of Logansport, LA, died Friday, September 9, 2005 in Center, Texas. He was retired from Southern Natural Gas Co. He was a member of the Logansport Lions Club and a Free Mason. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Logansport, LA. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Jarvis Barrett; one son, Robert Barrett; two brothers, Crumpton Barrett and Robert Barrett. 

He is survived by one sister, Mabel Palmer of New Orleans, LA; and granddaughter, Kate Barrett of Austin, Texas.
