Johnny Curtis Holmes

STANLEY, LA - Johnny Curtis Holmes, age 79, faithful husband and caring 
father went home to be with the Lord on March 21, 2005 after a lengthy 
illness. 

A 42 year resident of Stanley, LA, Johnny leaves behind his loving wife 
of 50 years, Ruby Christine Smith Holmes; one daughter, Debra and 
husband Bill Roberts of Crosby, TX; one son, Jeff Holmes of Dayton, 
Ohio; four grandchildren: Dewayne Wheeland of Pasadena, TX; Haley and 
husband James Buchanan of Baytown, TX; Micheal and Kirsten Holmes of 
Fredricksburg, VA; two great grandchildren: Adrian and Jean-Luc of 
Baytown, TX and friends. 

Pallbearers are Doug Adkinson, James Buchanan, Jason Casey, Travis 
Perkins, Bill Roberts, Dewayne Wheeland. Honorary pallbearers are 
Gordon Christian, Micheal Holmes, Prentiss Jones, Roy Smelly and Lamar 
Nix. 

Services will take place at Kilpatrick's Rose-Neath Funeral Home in 
Logansport, LA. Viewing will be from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 22nd. 
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23rd with interment 
immediately following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Stanley. Officiating
