Toledo Bend Tribune Obituaries Barbara E. Liles Galloway Mt Olivet Cemetery, Stanley, DeSoto Pr., LA The celebration of the life of Mrs. Barbara E. Liles Galloway was held Friday, February 25, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Chapel in Logansport. A lifetime resident of Logansport, Mrs. Galloway passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2005 in Logansport at the age of 100. She was a homemaker. Officiating were her grandsons Kerry Henry and Jason Arbuckle. Visitation was held at the funeral home Thursday evening, February 25 from 5:00 p.m. til 9:00 p.m. Interment was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Stanley. Mrs. Galloway was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Calvin Galloway, daughter Agnes Gyndel and eight stepchildren. Survivors included six daughters and their husbands: Fern Keeling; Dottie McDaniels; Doris & Wilba Hill; Pat and Gene Arbuckle; Juanell and Joe Hughes, all of Logansport; Carol and Buford Huff of Stonewall, La and one daughter-in-law Polly Galloway. She is survived by 30 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren, 54 great great grandchildren and 20 great great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Morris Hill, John English, David Huff, Cody Sewell, Neil Golden, and Gene Galloway. Honorary pallbearers were great grandsons and other grandsons. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Galloway was the grandmother of De Soto Parish Sheriff Rodney Arbuckle. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Mt. Olivet Cemetery Fund or the De Soto Parish Library in Logansport.
