George M. Farr
Magnolia Cemetery, Hunter Comm., DeSoto, LA

Funeral services were held Jan. 12th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in 
Mansfield for George M. Farr. Rev. Phil Michiels officiated with 
internment following in the Magnolia Cemetery in the Hunter Community. 

Services were under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in 
Mansfield.

The 88 year old had been a resident of the Hunter community for 30 year 
and was an employee of Binswanger Glass. 

He was born Dec. 8, 1916 in DeSoto Parish and he died on Jan. 8, 2005, in Mansfield, after a sudden illness. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille Farr. 

He is survived by one son Michael Farr and significant other Pennie 
Kelley; one daughter Lana Fitzpatrick and husband Stephen; special 
daughter Alice Burnett; three sisters Dorothy Archambeau and husband
Bill, Marie Bollinger, and Lanell Chamberlin and husband Aubrey; one 
brother Malcolm Farr and wife Jewel.

Pallbearers were Larry DeSoto, Guss Lafitte, Grady Kelly, Darrylyn 
Middleton, Adam Jackson and William Palmer.

A special thanks goes to Pennie Kelley for caring and loving our dad as 
if it were her own.
