Longstreet Cemetery

Funeral services were held Monday, December 19, 2005 for Betty West Branch, age 54, of Logansport.

Born in Shreveport, Branch passed away at her home on December 16, 2005. Under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, services were held at Longstreet Baptist Church with Bro. Frankie Mathis officiating. Internment followed in Longstreet Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary West. 

She is survived by husband Donald Branch; daughter Kristen Jackson and husband Steve; step-daughter Darlena Branch; step-sons Donald Alton Branch and wife Faye, David Harold Branch, and Dennis Wayne Branch and wife Tracie; grandchildren Michael Blankenship, Marissa Burns, Maisie Burns, Ethan Branch, and Jeb Branch.

Pallbearers were Jerry Dale West, Jr., Joe West, Darryl Dixon, David Branch, Dennis Branch, and Donnie Branch. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Carter Sanders, Jim Rolland, Dan Rainer, and Tuffy Blankenship.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Jeraldine and Dexter Watson and Betty McKee for their special love and care. 

One of Mrs. Branch’s highlight in life was playing the piano.
