Mrs. Joan Cook Cowan
Keithville Cemetery

STONEWALL, LA - Graveside services for Mrs. Joan Cook Cowan, 70, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at Keithville Cemetery, Keithville, LA. Reverend McKee Williams will preside. 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at Rose-Neath's Southside Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Cowan was born November 13, 1934 in Shreveport, LA to Henry Clay and Dorothy Keith Cook. She entered into rest Sunday, April 3, 2005 in Shreveport, LA after a brief illness. 

Mrs. Cowan is survived by her daughter, Carla L. Slaney and husband, Tim; her grandson, Zachary Slaney, who was truly the light of her life; and numerous extended family members and friends. 

The family wishes to express special thanks to all of the ICU nurses and doctors at Willis-Knighton South Hospital for their loving care of Joan.
