Mr. Johnny F. Speights
Keatchie Cemetery, DeSoto Pr., LA

KEATCHIE, LA - Funeral services for Mr. Johnny F. Speights, 84, will be 
held at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 
11:30 a.m. Officiating the funeral services will be Reverend Mike 
Stowell. Interment will follow at Keatchie Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, March 
23, 2005, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Speights was born February 21, 1921, in Elysian Fields, TX, and 
passed away on March 22, 2005, in Shreveport, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of over 59 years, 
Evelyn Gaines Speights,;daughter, Evelyn Ann Speights; five brothers: 
Shelby, James E., William Grady, Rupert, and Edwin Speights; sisters: 
Mary Rowe, Vera Yarborough, and Lillie Smith.

He is survived by his sister, Earlene Speights Smith; son, John Richard 
Speights and wife, Minerva; daughter, Mary Katherine Daugherty and 
husband, Dennis; grandchildren: Trey, Theresa, Amanda, Jeremy, and 
Casey; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Fisher, Andy Fisher, Mark Matthews, Dennis 
Matthews, Jody Matthews, and Mike Fisher.Rose-Neath Funeral Home,
