The Shreveport Times Obituaries Thursday, August 25, 2005 Mrs. Alice Fisher Keatchie Cemetery, DeSoto Pr., LA KEACHI, LA – Mrs. Alice Fisher, 78, passed away at Christus Schumpert Highland Hospital on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 after a brief illness. Visitation will be held at Osborn Funeral Home on Thursday, August 25 from 6 until 8. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2005 at Keatchie Presbyterian Church. Officiating will be Rev. Patty Kitchen of Keatchie Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Keatchie Cemetery. Mrs. Fisher was a native of Little Rock, AR and a resident of Keachi, LA for 50 years. She was a member of the American Contract Bridge League, and avid and skillful player, having amassed almost 1300 Master Points. She reached the coveted rank of SilverLife, in the northwest Louisiana Unit No. 170, she served in every position including president and board member many times. She enjoyed going to bridge tournaments including those in San Francisco, Boston, Toronto and Houston. Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by her husband, Don Fisher; and parents, Royce and Lurene Bennett. She is survived by her daughter, Molly Easterling and husband, Ron; son, Donnie Fisher and wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Christopher Fisher and wife, Ashley, Jared Fisher and Barry Bush; and great granddaughter, Anna Kate Fisher. Pallbearers will be Christopher Fisher, Jared Fisher, Travis Whitfield, Andy Fisher, Mike Fisher and Jef Fisher. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Adams, Bill Cook and Jack Kennedy.
