Benny Roger Mannies 
Highland Cemetery, Mansfield, DeSoto, LA

MANSFIELD, LA - Funeral services for Benny Roger Mannies, 55, will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Rose-Neath Chapel, Mansfield, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Ken Norton. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Mansfield, LA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2005. 

Mr. Mannies passed away October 5, 2005 in Shreveport, LA after a short illness. He was born in Hunter Community, Louisiana and was a life long resident of DeSoto Parish. He was a Tree Farmer. 

Mr. Mannies was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Rushing Mannies and step-father Charles C. Hunter. 

He is survived by his wife, Jean Lee Mannies; son, Hunter L. Mannies and wife Amanda; daughter, Mary Beth Mannies; brother, Wallace Dale Mannies and wife Dawn; a daughter, Cheryl, and a host of family and friends. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Blake McCullough, Mike Smith, Sonny Stone, Ricky Weeks, Butch McKissick, Dr. Leigh Dillard, Tommy McCullough, Joel Granger, David Mark Mobley, Mark Mobley, Jr. and Brian Cooper Register. 

The family suggests that memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, Mansfield, LA.
