Obituaries The Shreveport Times Sunday, Jun 05, 2005 Alice Ann (Butch) Hargett Highland Cemetery, Mansfield, De Soto, LA MANSFIELD, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Butch Hargett, 64, will be held at St. Joseph's Church at 10 a.m. in Mansfield, LA on Monday, June 6, 2005. Officiating will be Father Phil Michiel. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2005. With a vigil service at 5:30 p.m. Mrs. Hargett was born July 9, 1940 in Mansfield, LA. Growing up she was involved in many organizations and was valedictorian of the graduating class of Mansfield High School in 1958. After marrying her husband of 42 years, she devoted the rest of her life to her family. Mrs. Hargett was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Mansfield and lived a life of service to others. She will sorely missed by the many people whose lives she has touched. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Alice Duchamp. She is survived by her husband, Robert Hargett; son Britt Hargett and wife Jenny; daughter Babs Rossiter and husband Mike; daughter Becky Ponthieux and husband John; daughter Beth Ezernack and fiance' Edward; son Blake Hargett and girlfriend Melanie; grandchildren Brook, Cade, Holland, Britton, Justin, Jake, Jesse, and Brandon; sister Gayle Phillips and husband Dick; and a host of other family and friends. Pallbearers will be John Ponthieux, Mike Rossiter, Tony Phillips, Richie Phillips, Kenneth Lee and Greg Faust. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at DeSoto Regional and LSUHSC who were involved in Mrs. Hargett's care, especially Dr. Leigh Dillard.
