Pearl H. Blunt 
Friendship Cemetery, Grand Cane, DeSoto, LA

LOGANSPORT, LA - Funeral services for Pearl H. Blunt, 92, will be held at Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel, Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. Bro. David Permenter and Bro. Glenn Scruggs will officiate. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery, Grand Cane, La. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00-9:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 9. 

Mrs. Blunt passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2005 in Shreveport, La. She was born in Aberdeen, Miss. on February 8,1913. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was living at Heritage Manor South in Shreveport. She was a member of the Grand Cane Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Blunt was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Blunt, Sr.; one daughter, Sandlynn Blunt; and one grandson, Tatum Lasher. She is survived by three daughters, Frances Scruggs and husband, Joe; Linda Owens and husband, Arnold; Deborah Meisner and husband, Dan; and four sons, L.C. (Bubba) Blunt, Jr. and wife, Sandra; John A. Blunt and wife, Margaret; Jimmy Blunt; and Jerry Blunt and wife Janice; 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert House and one sister, Martha Hall; and numerous other relatives and friends. 

Pallbearers will be grandsons: Richard Scruggs, Larry Blunt, John Blunt, Jason Blunt, Jeremy Blunt, and Jimmy Blunt. 

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Heritage Manor South and to Lifepath Hospice. The family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
