Mary LaRayne Blackmon Bounds

Services for Mary LaRayne Blackmon Bounds will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005 in the chapel of Roseneath Funeral Home, Logansport with Bros. Wayne Painter and Mike Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Local arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ball.

Ms. Bounds, 85, of Boyce, passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005 in Lexington House, Alexandria.

Her husband, Shirley Oliver Bounds, and one brother, David Blackmon, preceded her in death.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include one son, Oliver Dale Bounds and wife Kitty of Lufkin, Texas; two daughters, Shirley Annette Bounds Mayeaux and husband Melvin of Boyce and Beth LaRayne Bounds Mayeaux and husband Ronald of Alexandria; her siblings, Christine Dunlap and husband Col. Glenn Dunlap of Ozark, Ala., Billie June Gregory and husband Jerri of Pleasant Hill, Harlond Blackmon and wife Gay of Mansfield, and Juanita Murphy and husband James Ray of Ruston; sister-in-law, Vera Blackmon of Gulfport, Miss.; 10 grandchildren, Joseph Oliver Mayeaux, Randy Scott Mayeaux, Ronald Anthony Mayeaux, Jr., Stacy Renee' Mayeaux Louviere, Lynn Maddox, Laura Bounds, Leah Grider, Laura Longino, Matt Capps and Alan Capps; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ball, and again from 12 p.m. until shortly before time of service at Roseneath Funeral Home
