The Shreveport Times Obituaries Thursday, July 28, 2005 Spc 5 Albert E. Murray Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Mansfield, LA KEATCHIE, LA - Funeral services for Spc 5 Albert E. Murray, 86, will be held at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, Friday, July 29, 2005, at 2:30 p.m. Pastor Mike Dale, pastor of Spirit Life International will officiate. Interment will follow in Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Mansfield, LA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2005. Mr. Murray was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served his country proudly in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He will be buried with military honors. Mr. Murray was born June 2, 1919, in Springdale, TX, to Henry Samuel Murray and Vina Howell Murray and passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mabel LeMoine Murray, four brothers, and two sisters. Mr. Murray is survived by his sons, Dwight Murray, Sammy Murray, and his wife, Barbara; daughters: Earnestine M. LaFitte and husband, Jerry, Betty Jean Murray, and Teresa Sullivan; step-daughters, Janice Ducey, Sandra Malmay and Myra Griffing; sisters: Faye Smith, Dorothy Achee', and Estelle Goodwin; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Albert LaFitte, Jason LaFitte, Henry Murray, Mike Taylor, Ronny Taylor, Billy Joe Estes and Joe Meshell. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Peace, Glenn Peace and Shawn Murray.
