Eva "Nana" Read Meier

STONEWALL, LA- Eva "Nana" Read Meier, 98 of Stonewall, LA, passed away April 25, 2008 at home. Born in Hull, England on June 6, 1909, she came to the U.S., married the love of her life, Ernest Meier, whom she is with once again.

She is survived by her children, Irene Ingram of N. Arlington, N.J., Ernest Meier and wife, Carolyn of Columbus, OH and Mary and John List of Stonewall, LA; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Known as Nana to all, she will be truly missed.

A memorial to remember her life will be Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Our Savor Lutheran Church at 6:00 p.m.

We would like to thank Dr. Ball and the nursing staff at Willis Knighton Pierremont and Odyssey home hospice for their care with our Nana.
