Carolyn Sue Adams Little

LOGANSPORT, LA- A celebration of Sue's life will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk Street, Mansfield, LA. Officiating will be her brother, the Reverend Harold Adams of Houston, TX and James Strickland of the Stanley Church of Christ.

Sue was born to Marian & Ira Adams on February 22, 1938 in Mansfield, LA and went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 4, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She is now at home with her husband of 47 years, Homer Little Jr. and her parents. She donated her body to science.

Sue graduated from Mansfield High School in 1956 and NSU in 1960. She later returned to NSU and earned her Masters Plus 30 degree. She gave private piano lessons and taught at Logansport High School until her retirement in 1999.

She is survived by her children, Rene Weir and husband Norman of Longview, TX, Lisa John of Shreveport, LA, and Scott Little and wife Debra of Blanchard, LA. Grandchildren are JP John Jr., Amy Weir, Angie Rehman and husband Asim, Joshua John, Jennifer Weir, Lillian Litle, Kathryn Little, Cheyanne Little, three great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sisters Betty Forkum, Martha Davis, Lynda Pharis, Mona Troutman, Mary Weir, and brothers, Harold Adams and Jim Adams as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Cancer Treatment Center at Christus Schumpert in Shreveport, LA. The family would like to thank Life Care Hospice, Dr. Patrick Connor and Christus Schumpert Cancer Treatment Center.
