Bobby Joe Hesser

SHREVEPORT, LA- Mr. Bobby Joe Hesser, 71, passed away at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, Houston, TX, on Monday, August 18, 2008, after a brief illness. Visitation will be held at Osborn Funeral Home on Thursday, August 21st from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rambin, LA. Officiating will be Father Larry Niehoff of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Mansfield, LA. Burial will follow in the Rambin Cemetery.

Mr. Hesser was a native of Pelican, LA, and a resident of Shreveport, LA, for many years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a retired car salesman.

Mr. Hesser was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Harper Hesser; father and mother, Joseph Lee and Helen Hesser; brothers, Joseph, Robert and Alex; and sister, Lillie Hesser LeGrand.

He is survived by one son, Phillip Hesser and wife, Heather; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Hesser; sister, Dorothy H. Kavanaugh and husband, Joe; two brothers, Felix A. Hesser and wife, Diane and James Ray Hesser and wife, Sarah and numerous nieces and nephews. OSBORNFUNERALHOME, (318) 865-8426
