Hugh Leslie Tucker, Jr.

NW LA Veterans Cemetery, Keithville

STONEWALL, LA - Funeral services will be held for Hugh Leslie Tucker, Jr., 64, Friday January 11, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at Rose-Neath Southside. Officiating will be Reverend Bill Stowell. Interment will follow in Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Tucker, Jr. was born May 31, 1943 to Hugh and Alpha Tucker. He passed away January 8, 2008 in Shreveport, LA.

Hugh was a resident of Stonewall, LA. He proudly served his country during the Viet Nam Conflict in the U.S. Navy. He was a layout technician for Bowlin Co.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Jean Walsworth; brother, Kenneth Tucker and sister-in-law, Terri Lea Lewis. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dorice Priest Tucker; daughters, Leslie Spano and Jody Atkins; sisters, Judy Causey and Mary Evelyn Rinaudo; grandchildren, Kendall Spano, Aaron Atkins, Brandon Atkins and Kaitlyn Atkins.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Atkins, Aaron Atkins, Mark Peters, Allen Walsworth, Brad Anderson, Danny Walsworth and Doug Woodard.
