Richard C. Charbonneau

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Graveside services honoring the life of Richard C. Charbonneau will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2008, at Chreene Cemetery, Stanley, LA. Officiating will be Rev. James E. Flowers, Jr., pastor of St. George Episcopal Church.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Funeral Home.

Richard was born September 1, 1926 in Jackson, MS and passed away Thursday, December 4, 2008, at Overton Brooks Medical Center in Shreveport. He was a member of St. George Episcopal Church. Richard served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He was a Mason and a member of the VFW. Richard retired from Mid-Continent Steel as a crane operator.

His parents, Charles and Susie Charbonneau, and first wife, Dorothy Charbonneau, preceded Richard in death. Left to cherish beautiful memories are his wife, Jessye Harper Charbonneau of Bossier City, LA; daughters, Cindy Howard and husband, Rex of Bossier City, LA and Debi Flowers and husband, Lawrence of Shreveport, LA; stepson, Robert Todd Cureton of Benton, LA; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
