SHREVEPORT, LA - Mr. Lester Simton Sr., 68, funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Winnfield Funeral Home Chapel. Family Hour will be Friday at 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Winnfield Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Mariah Baptist Church Cemetery, Kingston, La.

He was preceded in death by son, Lamont Simton.

Surviving children are Lester Jr., Garland, Kelvin, Janice (Lisa); brother, Chester Simton; sisters, Bobbie Jean Davis, Lency Montgomery; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
