Mr. Corrie E. Franklin

Centuries Memorial Cemetery, Shreveport

LOGANSPORT, LA - Corrie E. Franklin, 83, passed from this life to his Heavenly Father October 16, 2009 at his home in Logansport, LA. He was born August 15, 1926 in Zwolle, LA. and lived, most of his life in Shreveport, LA. Corrie served the Lord his entire adult life and was a member of Logansport Missionary Baptist Church. He is also a Past Master in the Masons and Eastern Star attending Mount Vernon Lodge #83. He would never talk about it, but he served his country in WWII receiving several commendations including the bronze star.

Corrie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and all around good friend to many. He loved God, his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Anna May Franklin; daughters- Barbara Ann Seethoff and husband, Jim, Beth Preedom and husband, Steve; sons- Bobby Franklin and wife, Suzanne, Bill Franklin and wife Gwynneth; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Service will be held Monday, October 19th at 11am at Logansport Missionary Baptist Church. Graveside services will follow at Centuries Memorial in Shreveport around 1PM.
